Things To Do

Rakopotamos Beach

One of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in the coastline of Larissa, Rakopotamos is a 8-kilometer drive from Agiokampos beach. It is named after the Rakopotamos stream which flows from the lush green mountain all the way down to Aeagen sea.

The area is known to the locals for its crystal clear and calm waters most time of the year as it is divided in three smaller bays.

The beach is not organized but you can find few beach bars and  taverns in the area that respect the environment and the surroundings.

On your way to Rakopotamos you can also stop by Papakosta beach, another favourite spot for families and campers. And at  Polydendri you can dine in one of the local taverns enjoying the great view over the sea.

Agiokampos - Sotiritsa - Velika

At about 50 kilometers from Larissa, you will reach the clear blue waters of Agiokampos. Awarded every year with the Blue Flag, Agiokampos offers tourist facilities and plenty of accommodation types, beach bars, cafes, and restaurants to cater for every taste.

Following the continuous coastline of 10 kilometers to Velika you can enjoy various pebble and sandy beaches, some organized or just completely natural.
